The annual Hike & Run, presented by Baker Hostetler, benefits the Nature Center's Jenny Goldman Environmental Educator in Residence Program that Underwrites environmental education for underserved urban youth.

5K RACE: 9:15 am
HIKES: 9:00 am
Registration Fees Registration opens at 8:00am on race day.
- 5K Race - $17 pre-register by Sept 20th, $20 after Sept 20th Registration includes a free T-shirt and refreshments.
- Hikes - Adult $13 and Children $10 (age 12 & under/Scouts/Student Club members)
Registration includes a free T-shirt and refreshments.
Parking Parking is available on surrounding streets only. Please allow ample time for a short walk to the Nature Center parking lot for registration and start.

Race Features 5K Run The course is run on both the road and trail along the scenic Shaker Lakes and the Nature Center habitats. Race managed by HMA Promotions.
12-Mile Doan Brook Gorge Hike Our vigorous 12-mile hike, led by The Cleveland Hiking Club, will take us to Dike 14 on Lake Erie and back to the Nature Center.
4-Mile Doan Brook Gorge Hike Hike along the Shaker Parklands and the scenic Doan Brook gorge. We'll explore the habitats, history and geology of this unique area called the Portage Escarpment, the beginnings of the Appalachian mountain range.
1-Mile Pet Friendly Hike for Families Hike along the Nature Center trails through the forest, marsh and prairie. Pets must be leashed at all times.
